It also revealed various negative implications of global music among Nigerian youths such as cultism, drug addiction, prostitution, lesbianism, gangsterism, uncultural dressing habits, homosexualism and other acts of immorality and criminality. This study concluded that the global music has negatively influenced both moral and cultural orientation of Nigerian society which specifically has ugly implications on Nigerian adolescents. This study, however, recommended that government regulatory agencies should step up actions in reducing the in-flow of global entertainment products and should be conscious of 70%-30% local/foreign contents as stipulated by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Parents/Guardians should take cognizance of the negative implications and be watchful of the kinds of western programmes that their children view. Finally, singers and producers of Nigerian indigenous music should improve and be more sophisticated in their contents, pattern and lyrics.
